Alright so that "in Pakistan" part i add just for search engines :) But the title describe the mindset of our today entrepreneurs in pakistan. I really love watching our country men, women and young generations moving forward and using internet to gain something rather than wasting time and hundred of hours on browsing facebook and checking female profiles :P and on all other social media platforms.
But the thing that hurt most is once anyone in our nation find success or learn something, they will start becoming greedy. They use the knowledge for self entitlement rather than showing other's the way to success. They will start fooling people just to earn some bucks. They will start posting selfies which everyone will hate and say in local language (dafa mar manhoos) but will still post a comment saying "Oh wow, great pic. love it", just to be on their good side. They will go live on facebook and live stream like they are the next big thing and mark zuckerberg and google ceo's knock on their doors just to get new ideas every now and then. They started to live in a virtual world. #GodBlessThem
Alright so these are just 75% of entrepreneurs in pakistan we talking about, the rest just want to stay anonymous and they don't like publicity, be seen or singled out. #salutetoyouguys You are the real deal i will say. You are better than the one's who post clickbait titles posts on their profiles to get few clicks from their dedicated followers by fooling them.
In a sense we can say that entrepreneurs in pakistan are not matured yet, or just following other entrepreneurs who are just after money and nothing else. Recently i have been on a major pakistani blog that posts startup and tech news and doing really great, i visited it after few years and suddenly saw a decrease in quality of posts and lots of posts with clickbait titles, i said to myself maybe they have sold the website to someone else, but was amazed to see the same owner was running it along with editors and writers who started it in first place, for fun i just posted a comment saying "Come'on Clickbait title....Really!" and shocked by the response from visitors saying "In ka bhi Peet hai, Paise bnane hai yeh na karein to kiya karein" in english "they have to earn money in that way to live, what else they can do" for one thing i will say this was the most stupidest response i heard in my life....really you want to earn money by posting clickbait titles, why not leave the work and sell the website instead if you cannot do a decent job. Why not go jump in a river or sea :D alright that was little extreme and harsh. But really if you are not good at something and can't learn it also, i will say move forward and do something else, rather than making yourself and others fools.
Other trend i am seeing nowadays are of those scam webinars and seminars from so called fake guru's, who don't have anything on their names, doesn't earn a single $ online in their life and acting like pro's. Do remember this trend just started to emerge in pakistan, but it is going on from 2000's in the US and other countries (mainly first world countries).
Fake Entrepreneurs in Pakistan started to exploit this niche as well just to make people fools and rack in some cash.
Below are some general tips to avoid scams in online earning world of pakistan.
1. Don't follow anyone blindly and always check what he/she has accomplished and can teach you.
2. If necessary interact with more and more people and try to learn about that so called fake guru who say he will teach you "How to be a Pro Freelancer in Pakistan" by giving him/her X amount in fee or spending X amount on certain Product.
3. Oh Yeah! Avoid People who say do X Amount of investment to get this Job (your answer to them should be.....f#ck you!)
4. Avoid Survey Websites, Website which ask you to do lots of Clicking to earn pennies, products with affiliates links and more.
5. Avoid everything if it put you in doubt.
6. Avoid online scams in pakistan generally that are found on internet with shaddy profiles and links.
I have also seen people asking for investment from ordinary people to invest in their idea or product without giving details, for example this one dude who's posts often end up in my facebook timeline gathered bunch of people and added them to a group saying i have previously built fortune 500 companies (sarcasm) and i want you ordinary working class to invest in my idea and my goal is to convert you all to investors and entrepreneurs in pakistan, And Wait you will love to hear this guy proposition.... oh i will not give you any details just give me your money (minimum investment 50k PKR) and first three months you will not hear anything about this so called startup (we will hire people and start promoting our project) and bunch of other bullshit. Then after words it all depend if it was a success you can see return which we will deposit to your account. For first few months you will get minimum 1,500 to 2,000 in your account. Now think of this idea, even though if he didn't make any money or going in loss, he can still pay the agreed profit from the money that investors gave to him in first place and after few months he can say oh the company went into loss and we lose everything, good luck come back again to get fooled.
The idea of investing in his idea was so ridiculous, that if you pitch it to any businessman he will kick you out of the door and want to never hear from you again. Absolute garbage and bullshit i can say.
